The artists who are scheduled to perform in Kerala during the next two months are Vidushi Bombay Jayashri , Dr Kamala Shankar , Dr Jayanthi Kumaresh, Pandit Ajay Pohankar with Vyasamurthi Katti on Harmonium and Pandit Ravindra Yavagal on Tabla, Pandit Ronu Majumdar, Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya Santoor , Dr Methil Devika, Smt Kavita Dwibedi, Ms Monisha (Kathak) etc etc. We are awaiting dates from several other artists . We are also planning special workshops on Kathak at two very prestigious Jawahar Novodaya Vidyalaya in Malapuram and Kotayam Dist.
We have firmed up with a number of new educational institutions like Sanskrit University, Amrita College of Ayurvedic , Govt Music College Trivandrum,NSS schools in different parts of Kerala, Kerala State School of Dramma Trichur ,Trivandrum International School, Govt Arts College Calicut etc apart from IIM Calicut, NIT Calicut, Medical college Calicut and KV and Javahar Navodaya Schools as well as some State Govt Schools . The highlight of the plans are to bring SM to more college students as we feel the urgent need for such a step . We plan to open new chapters at all the new places and cover the entire Kerala State during Jan and Feb with Fest prog of Festival of India in Kerala. A tentative schedule of Dr Kamala Shankar, Dr Jayanti Kumaresh , Pandit Pohankar is attached with this mail ( hope attachment comes thro) .we have very ambitious plans of doing one hundred programmes of pure classical art ( music and dance) during the Fest 2012 and take the overall tally of Kerala activity past 250
